A client from Escanaba recently brought his 2008 Chevy Silverado to Driven Sound & Security for some audio upgrades. After having a look at the truck and discussing his goals, we designed a technology upgrade solution for the client.
We started the project with the installation of a Kenwood DDX375BT DVD receiver. This radio has a 6.2-inch touch panel display and Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming. We added an Echomaster backup camera to make parking and maneuvering the truck easier and safer.
We replaced the front speakers with a set of JL Audio C1-Series coaxial units to freshen up the sound in the truck. We chose our Stage II installation to maximize the performance of the speakers. We use sound deadening and acoustic coupling rings to ensure all the music feeds into the vehicle interior.
The last step was to set the client up with a Compustar remote car starter with the amazing Pro T-11 remote control. This remote offers up to 3 miles of range.
The client was very happy with the upgrades he chose. If you want to update the features and technology in your car or truck, drop by DrivenSS or send us an e-mail.
