The team at Driven Sound and Security in Marquette has always taken the safety of our client vehicles very seriously. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve upgraded our cleaning processes and invoked appropriate social distancing measures to keep our staff and our customers safe.
Client Safety and Cleaning Practices
For now, we’ve removed the waiting area from our store. While we understand that this might be an inconvenience, having clients waiting in the store while others are coming and going presents an unnecessary risk to everyone.
We can still provide our clients with audio and convenience system demonstrations. We ask that you allow our staff to operate the equipment. Don’t worry – if you want us to crank up the volume, we’d be happy to oblige.
We’ve upgraded our cleaning process to ensure that high-traffic areas like door handles, the debit machine and the front counter are cleaned dozens of times a day. We use commercial-grade virucides and follow the appropriate application recommendations to ensure their efficacy. Our staff wear face masks in accordance with government guidelines. If you have a mask, we ask that you wear it when dropping off or picking up a vehicle – it’s not mandatory, but it’s appreciated.
At the end of each day, we perform an ozone shock treatment to the showroom just as we’re headed out the door. We have a pair of ozone machines that run on a timer to fill the high-traffic areas and kill any viruses and bacteria.
We have a specific process in place to make sure that your car keys are cleaned when you drop off the vehicle, and we repeat the process when you pick it up. We use the same process with new remotes for our car starter, convenience and security systems.
Vehicle Safety Processes
Unlike some shops that use a virucide fog on client vehicles, we use our ozone machines to perform a shock treatment to the interior to ensure that there is no chance of someone getting sick. The ozone treatment has the side benefit of killing unwanted bacteria that cause odors. If your car or truck happens to smell like a spring day just after a rainstorm, that’s a pleasant side effect.
We’ve always treated our client vehicles with the highest levels of care and respect. For example, trim panels that we remove to upgrade radios, install remote car starters or run wiring for amplifiers and speakers are stored safely so they won’t be scratched or damaged. We take pride in ensuring that every vehicle leaves our installation facility in better condition than when it arrived. A quick vacuum is a simple process that shows we respect the trust you put in us. Repeat business and positive word-of-mouth advertising are proof of our dedication to our clients.
