A client from Marquette who was referred to us by his friend contacted us to discuss adding window tint to his 2013 Ford F-150. He wanted to protect the interior and occupants from harsh sunlight, and to gain UV ray protection and privacy. After discussing some of the advantages of window film, we dove right in to get the truck tinted.
We selected 3M FX Premium window film because its carbon-black appearance will last for years with no fading or discoloration — and since it is a non-metallic film, it does not inhibit cellular or RF frequencies, so it won’t cause dropped calls or missed messages. This film is designed to block up to 45% of solar energy from entering the vehicle, which reduces interior temperatures and protects occupants from harmful effects of the sun. The dark tint contrasted great against the truck’s blue paint for a beautiful appearance.
