A client from Marquette brought her 2017 Nissan Murano to Driven Sound and Security to have the driver and passenger doors tinted. She mentioned that she could feel a lot of heat and wanted a film that would block UV rays to protect her and her passengers’ skin from damage.
We explained how our 3M premium films block 99% of UV rays and that having her windows tinted would be the equivalent of wearing a lotion sunscreen with an SPF of 1,000. This same film also does a great job of blocking IR energy to keep the interior of the vehicle cooler.
We suggested a film with a 15% shade to match the privacy glass on the side and rear windows. Once it is installed, you can barely tell the difference between our tint and the factory tint on the rear windows. The client was pleased with the way her Murano looks.
