Headlight Replacement
Our headlight replacement lighting kits will replace your normal, incandescent bulbs with the latest technology in LED lighting. These kits have been on the market for a few years, but the early units were poor designs, and their light output was lousy. We are now seeing third-generation units that have dramatically improved output, along with a much more reliable design. Many shops are still selling the first- and second-generation designs, because vendors have lowered pricing on them to keep them selling. Driven Sound & Security will not offer these kits because we don’t fall into the trap of trying to make more money on a client at the expense of performance or reliability.
The Right Light Makes All The Difference
Our systems have a color grade of 6500 kelvin, so they have a very white light with just a hint of blue. This color will give you the maximum benefit of seeing dark images at night. Have you ever noticed how you can see a black dog walk across blacktop during the day, yet at night, you can barely make it out? That is because the headlight bulbs in most vehicles give off a yellowish light that makes it hard to distinguish subtle color changes. Our LED headlight bulbs are much closer in color to natural sunlight, so you would see that black dog a lot easier. The end result for you is a safer driving experience. You will also see farther away, since our systems give off more total light, resulting in more of the road ahead being illuminated.
Reverse Light Replacement
We also offer replacement LED reverse lights. Now you can get the same benefit when you are backing up. We often see gains as high as 100% improvement in reverse lighting with our replacement bulbs.
OEM Fit
It should be noted that our systems are designed to work with your original headlight and taillight housings. We have seen many low-quality, Chinese-made housings that have horrible optics, so we do not offer them to our clients.
