A client from Negaunee came to us with a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee that needed some upgrading. She did not want to go out and buy a brand new $55,000 Jeep just to get some of the features she wanted. We obliged her by converting her standard headunit to a double-din DVD player. The original bezel did not accommodate a double-din unit so we got a new bezel from Jeep. This provided the same opening that would have been present if this Grand Cherokee had come with the premium DVD system from the manufacturer. For the DVD player we chose a Kenwood Excelon with a 6.95″ screen, iPod direct connect, bluetooth and customizable color options to match the existing lighting in the vehicle. Our client was pleased with the outcome and is scheduled in to upgrade the OEM speakers next.
