A client from Marquette recently brought his 2016 Chevy Silverado Rocky Ridge Callaway SC560 to Driven Sound and Security for a paint restoration and protection package.
We started with a foam bath to remove surface debris then a thorough fallout decontamination process to remove rail dust and other ferrous substances bonded to the paint surface. Next up was tar removal on the front and sides of the truck and finally, a thorough decontamination wash.
We started a two-stage paint correction process to remove 90% of the flaws in the clear coat. With the scratches and swirls removed, we wiped down the truck to remove fillers and oils from the polishing and refining compounds. We went over the truck with our high-intensity daylight LED lights to ensure there were no holograms before applying a layer of Gtechniq Crystal Serum. Once that was cured, we topped the paint with C2 Liquid Crystal.
