A client from Negaunee dropped by Driven Sound & Security to find out what we could do to help make the black paint on his 2016 Chevy Colorado really pop. We had a look at the truck to determine the condition of the paint before explaining the options available to the client. He chose our Gtechniq C2 Liquid Crystal protection package.
We started the project by bringing the Colorado into our wash bay and hosing down the paint. We sprayed the truck with our foam bath solution to help loosen any debris on the surface of the paint. After a quick wash, we moved to the tar and fallout removal stage.
With the paint surface clean, we gave the truck a final hand-washing, then dried the vehicle. We used a preparation solution to remove any existing waxes, sealants or oils from the paint surface before we began applying the C2 Liquid Crystal. As you can see, the truck looks awesome. The client will be able to keep the vehicle looking great for months.
